Welcome to the heart of my magical garden nestled in the north of our beautiful Mauritius. All the plants are cultivated without any pesticide or herbicide to guarantee you high quality, 100% natural, organic and local “Leaves and Flowers” herbal teas.
Every day the greatest care is taken to harvest the plants that we remove by hand, leaf by leaf, to avoid damaging them. After harvesting, the plants are dried in a special cabinet to preserve all their qualities. From production to packaging, “Feuilles et Fleurs” works in a totally artisanal way.
Passionate and certified consultant in Phyto-Aromatherapy and Medicinal Plants, I will be happy to advise you on the virtues of plants, excellent for our body, our health and our well-being.
A passion in heritage
As a biologist’s granddaughter, it is with my mother, in Reunion Island, that I discovered nature, from a very young age, with wonder. I remember the paths, the richness of biodiversity, the endemic trees and lontan plants of which she held the secrets. I still remember the marvelous Creole gardens in La Plaine, composed of ornamental, aromatic and medicinal plants and I remember the delight of her lemon verbena infusions.
From passion to learning
My passion for plants allowed me to learn from Nature, this fantastic open-air encyclopedia. Later on, I completed my learning through books and then through a professional training in aromatic and medicinal plants as well as a training as a phyto-aromatherapy consultant.
Like a plant, my passion grows and I never stop learning. Each day offers new experiences of observation, curiosity, patience, perseverance… even mistakes are a source of learning.
Living from my passion
I have always had the great privilege of marveling at the germination of a seed and the stars in my eyes as I watch a plant grow. After several years of teaching, I chose to make a living from my passion.
My first steps in this reconversion were in my garden, with the creation of a vegetable garden with vegetables, herbs and medicinal plants in permaculture, a rich personal experience completed by an agricultural training with the Agricultural Research and Extension Unit, followed by workshops on drying plants and food hygiene standards.
